Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the review process take?
We aim to respond within 48-72 hours for urgent cases (e.g., illegal content) and within 5-7 business days for copyright claims. Complex cases may take longer.
Will the content be immediately removed?
For clearly illegal content (e.g., child exploitation, terrorism), we remove content immediately. For other cases, we may temporarily suspend access while investigating.
What if the content is locked for citation purposes?
Even locked content can be removed if it violates laws or rights. However, we may anonymize it or replace it with a notice to preserve existing citations when legally permissible.
Can I appeal a decision?
Yes, both reporters and content uploaders can appeal decisions. Contact us via email with your case ID and new information or arguments.
