Experiencias, tecnología explicada de forma sencilla y un vistazo entre bastidores: cuánto trabajo hay realmente en Relyper.

Relyper as its own telephony provider?

Offering own numbers and lines to others – a possible next step.

Today Jarvis calls through your existing line. Offering own numbers would be the next step – and again a door with many behind it. I am watching demand before I open it.

The AI Factory as a service for others

The platform Relyper is built on is meant to be available to other teams too.

The Relyper AI Factory made a large part of these projects possible. The next step: it is meant to be offered as a service to others as well – with their own tenants and their own workers.

What stays the same: the factory provides the speed. Every team brings its own ideas and the knowledge of what should be built.

Too much? Or the new age of AI?

13 projects, over 1,000 commits, around 250,000 lines of code. Is that too much for one person – and what does the AI actually do?

The question is an obvious one: isn’t this all too much? A link archive, a virus scanner, smart links, an AI factory, a phone assistant, piano, music – from one person?

The honest answer has two parts.

What the AI Factory does – and what it doesn’t
  • It takes on: AI workers that work through tasks, job management at runtime, publishing projects – fast and around the clock.
  • It doesn’t: decide what gets built, and why. The idea, the direction and the moment you notice something is going wrong come from a human.
  • That is why knowledge matters: the fix for the 40-second night in telephony was a single line. But to ask the right question, you have to understand what a WebSocket frame is.

Two flyers, one call: Aivra shows two sides

The straightforward flyer for everyone – and one that so far only went to friends.

Aivra is the AI that makes phone calls for you: she understands, decides and acts. For that there is a straightforward flyer with a test number and the link relyper.de/call-aivra.

And then there is this second version: “Call me.” – with a whip, neon and a lot more attitude. So far it only went to friends. I am showing it here anyway because it shows how this project comes about: serious technology, built by someone who is allowed to have fun doing it.

AI telephony: five days, 68 commits and one night of 40 seconds

How Jarvis learned to make phone calls – and why “the assistant should be able to call” is not a weekend feature.

It sounded simple at first: the assistant should be able to call and be called. Then you start – and one thing leads to the next. You open a door and ten more are waiting behind it. Each one needed its own fix.

From the outside you see none of it: in the end it is just a phone call that works. That is exactly why I am telling you how much work went into it.

Tech explained simply: “Can’t ChatGPT do that?”
  • ChatGPT delivers text. A phone call is a live audio stream in both directions. If the answer takes three seconds, the conversation is broken – so you need real-time voice instead of “question – answer”.
  • Someone has to own the line. A real phone number comes from a provider. At Relyper your line plugs into our own phone server (Asterisk, open source) – or you use a voice API.
  • The key must never leave the server. Every call gets a short-lived token so the real API key never reaches users.
  • And then everything around it: who may call, which company owns which line, what a minute costs, who pays – things a chatbot knows nothing about.

How new projects come about

A link archive has turned into 13 projects. Almost every one came from a real need – not from a plan.

If you look at the projects page, you now see 13 projects. It looks as if someone had a big plan. The truth is simpler: almost every project came from a problem I had myself at that moment.

The first month: 447 commits

In December 2025 the foundation was built: permalinks, virus checks, snapshots, a login service of our own, a support chat and the first guardians.

In December 2025, 447 commits were made – more than in any month since. It was the month a concept turned into a platform.

Why everything starts with a link

The first commit laid down the concept and the logo. Why the core of everything is a link that stays.

On November 30, 2025, the first commit was made: the concept and the logo of Relyper. That is where it all started.

The idea behind it is simple: links break. Articles get edited, posts get deleted, sites move. Anyone who wants to back something up – a study, a statement, a social media post – sooner or later ends up with a dead link or a page that says something different from back then.

Tech explained simply: what is a snapshot?
  • A link only points to a page. If the page changes or disappears, the link leads nowhere – or to something different from back then.
  • A snapshot is a copy at a point in time. Relyper stores what the page looked like at exactly the moment you saved it.
  • The permalink (GRI) never changes. Every saved source gets its own permanent address – you can cite it, even ten years from now.
